Some will work really well, others will work okay with some effort and some turning down of certain settings, but there are some games that just won't work. Its kind of like using Wine or using Steam's Proton to play windows games. So essentially something similar to Rosetta 2 on the mac needs to run that helps non ARM designed software to run, it may mean that certain games just won't work. You also have to be using the ARM version of Windows, requiring a compatibility layer as most software especially games are designed for x86 chips, Intel or AMD. The only way that you are using Windows on an m1 or m2 mac is if you are using Parallels or other virtual machine. If my m2 chip has more speed, cores, and threads than the intel5-6600 processor (the recommended processor for hogwarts legacy), I should be fine to play it, right? Speed + how many cores + how many threads So I found out I actually have m2.
